I Learned a lot more than just those three from the reading but these were I thought were the most important.

Vocabulary

HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language)
The programming language that tells websites how to structure and present content on a web page.
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
Defines the layout and style of a webpage.
Plug-ins
An additional piece of software that specializes in processing particular types of content.
Browser Cookies
A small piece of text sent to your browser by a website you visit that contains information that you may want the site to remember.
Malware
A malicious software installed on your machine designed to steal credit card numbers, steal passwords, or harm your computer.

  2. How my privacy is important.
  3. How the Web has changed.
  4. How useing an outdated browser can endanger you.

The Web is changing all the time and it is important to adapt to these changes to help make the web great again.

Always having an updated browser is import so that you do not need to have certain plug-ins or extensions.

Other Vocabulary

Phishing - When someone pretends to be someone else to trick you into sharing personal information.

IP address - A series of numbers that tell us where a particular device is on the network.

DNS (Domain Name System)- Like a phone book for the Web. DNS translates a URL an IP address to contact.

Packets - Data chunks that are broken down and sent separately across the internet. It is the reasembled.
